  • About

Of all the cities of Spain, Alicante is the most affected by tourism thanks to the nearby airport and all all-inclusive hotels. Still, it is an attractive Spanish town with a castle, old quarter and long shoreline.
Alicante surprises with a lively mix of Spanish culture, architecture, history and the lifestyle of the inhabitants.
The city's fine sandy beaches are relaxing for body and soul. The beaches are among the best in Spain and the favorable climate all year round and the practical size of the city makes Alicante a perfect holiday destination.
You can easily believe that Alicante is a pure tourist trap. That's totally wrong. This is a really genuine Spanish town.
Alicante is also a shopping mecca. The bargain is on the main street of El Corte Inglesias, which is centrally located between two major shopping centers. Leather goods are of very high quality and are something that Alicante is known for.
The old town in the evening is a must. At the square near Santa Maria Church, there is an alley where a lot happens after 7 pm.
Suddenly you hear Spanish guitar music in the alley and it is just to enjoy and feel the real Spain. There are many small Tapas restaurants in town that are cheap compared to other tourist resorts.
