Alonissos is located east of Skiathos. It is a small island with about 2,800 residents. The capital is called Patitiri. During the summer, the population increases sharply because tourists and families with summer houses on the island.
Alonissos has an area of 64 km².
If you like peace and quiet and maybe hike, then this is the right island for you. There are no long sandy beaches with sun loungers, bars, etc.
The beaches are not the best but the water is crystal clear.
Alonissos is not exploited as e.g. Skiathos. Here life is calm and sensed. A peaceful life.

You can travel to Alonissos with a charter company. .
Either a complete trip with accommodation or an air chair and then book accommodation separately.
It is also possible to fly scheduled flight, but this often means several changes.
You fly to Skiathos and from there boat to Alonissos. You can buy tickets for the boat from any travel agency in the harbor.

Nature and the marine national park and the crystal clear water are the major attractions of Alonissos.

Archaeological sights do not exist.
