Symi

  • About

Symi has probably Greece's most beautiful port city, Gialos. Every day, dozens of tourists arrive in Gialos from Rhodes.
The city of Chorio is overgrown with Gialos and you can best get there via the beautiful stairs Kalistrata. Chorio is the exact opposite of Gialos, here there are not many tourists and you are met by a vibrant Greek village with small alleys and beautiful old houses. There are several tavernas.
All of Symi has a mountainous barren terrain.

Symi is not for anyone looking for long white sandy beaches. Here is the pebble stone that applies even if there are some sandy beaches.
By excursion boat you reach more solitary beaches.
